PLAYING CARDS FACTORY "ASS"

Until 1945 VASS (Vereinigte Altenburger und Stralsunder Spielkartenfabriken) were situated in Altenburg. After WWII the firm moved to the western part of Germany: first to Detmold and later to Leinfelden near Stuttgart where they still produce cards under the brand name ASS and some other names.
